Abstract(s)
Článek se zabývá fenoménem hraní počítačových her. První část definuje pojem agrese a zabývá se nejrozšřřenějšími teoriemi agrese (Lorenzova instinktivní teorie agrese, Dollardova frustrační teorie agrese, Berkowitzova teorie negativního afektu, Zillmannova teorie nabuzení, Bandurova teorie sociálního učení, teorie zpracování informací Dodge a Cricka, Caprarův osobnostní přístup k agresi). V druhé části vstupujeme do virtuálního světa. Ukazujeme i člověku neznalému počítačových her, o co vlastně jde.
The paper deals with the phenomenon of playing computer games. It summarizes some of the characteristics of players and tries to describe the relationship between playing electronic games with violence components and aggressive behavior of players. First section defines the conception of aggression and deals with the theories of aggression (Lorenz's instincts theory of aggression, Dollarďs frustration theory of aggression, Berkowitz's theory of negative affect, Zillmann's theory of activation, Bandura's theory of social leaming, Dodge's and Crick's theory of information processing, Caprara's personal access to aggression). The second part invites the reader to the virtual world of computer games. It contributes to explanation of computer games also lay people. It shows different types of games and general approaches to their playing. The paper also describes the research on aggression in our country and abroad. In my research I show the relationship between intensive playing of action games and higher score in Caprara's scale Toleration to violence. The important result is a positive correlation between respondent's own evaluation of aggression and the overall score in Caprara's scales, especially in the Dissipation - Rumination Scale.
