Abstract(s)
The movement for Central-European economic and cultural convergence initiated in the times between the two World Wars by Elemer Hantos, profesor of economy at Budapest university, undoubtely belongs to the issues which weren't elaborated appropriately in the context of European historiography. The Hungarian thinker E. Hantos became famous through his tireless propagandistic activity which had encompassed organisation of lectures, publishing articles in Central-European newspapers of higher importance and addressing special memoranda to the league of Nations in Geneve.
