Abstract(s)
In the graphic art collection of the Moravian Gallery in Brno there is a large print with a drawing of the Assumption of Our Lady, made by the Bolognese painter, fresco painter, and decorative artist Vittorio Maria Bigari (1692–1776). This drawing is connected with the fresco in the Aldovrandi family chapel in the church of San Petronio in Bologna, which Bigari, together with Stefano Orlandi, completed in 1746. A further drawing by Bigari can be found in Czech collections, that of St. Petronius and St. Catherine of Bologna, which is kept in the Museum of Czech Literature in Prague.
