Статья посвящена концепту двойничества, который Н. В. Гоголь разрабатывает, по мнению автора во всех повестях, включенных в цикл Петербургские повести. В зависимости от того, насколько персонажи повестей "раздваиваются", различаются четыре типа дойничества: синхронное внешнее, последовательное (сукцессивное) внутреннее, синхронное внутреннее и синхронное внутреннее и внешнее двойничество.
The article deals with the theme of double-gangership which could be indicated in all the stories by N. V. Gogol in his cycle of St. Petersburg Stories. Trying to distinguish the types of this phenomenon the author speaks of four types of double-gangership: synchronic exterior, successive interior, synchronic interior and at the last synchronic both interior and exterior.
