This thesis deals with an analysis of the level of creative thinking of students with different study specialization. Participants were administered the Torrance Figural Test of Creative Thinking. The response analysis of students of mathematics and students of an art school in figural test confirmed that students of mathematics in some quantitative aspects tended to score higher - Σ Fx (the figural flexibility), Σ Fl (the figural fluence). The differences in flexibility have proved to be one of the most differentiating features between the students of mathematical grammar school and the art school students. The results also found responses with a high incidence which the Manual of 1984 does not include. This might be an incentive for new research in this area, which would update the standards.
