Abstract(s)
Presented paper deals with the Czech translations of Russian dystopian texts. It gives overview and analysis of the Russian short stories and novels, that become - due to their translations - well-known in the Czech cultural sphere. Distinct attention to the Evgenyi Zamyatin's novel We is given. The article is focused on the explanation of the term "dystopia" in different geocultural locations, especially in the Czech and Russian tradition, too.
