Abstract(s)
Profil kurikula Informačních studií a knihovnictví v Brně odpovídá koncepci informačního oboru prosazované hnutím i-škol.
The study deals with development of curriculum and with nature of transformations it pass through. We use curriculum mapping to pin down the development of curriculum and Venn diagrams to visualize transformations. The case study concerns with The Division of Information and Library Studies (KISK) at Masaryk University in Brno in the entirety of its existence captured in six different developmental stages. The aim of study is to show study profile from the perspective of professional identity in historical development. The results of the study indicate a shift of study profile from domain of libraries to domain of information with a focus on interdisciplinarity. The profile of Information and Library Studies curriculum in Brno corresponds to the concept of the information field promoted by I-school movement.
