The author of the present study deals with the contemporary crises of Slavonic studies searching for the new ways to their reconstruction through the introduction of new subjects and methodologies, such as intercultural studies, imagology, geopoetics, gender studies, postcolonial studies, ethnic studies, emigration and alienation.
