Abstrakt(y)
Systematic expatriation of the Serbian and Montenegrin colonists at the Kosovo and Metohija territory, thru which the Yugoslavian state wished to reverse the ethnic situation in this region, being occupied by Albanians predominantly during the interwar period, however historically considered to be the birthplace of Serbian statehood, as well as destinies of these colonists during the WWII and after the war, all this excite inconsistent reactions both within the political sphere and within understanding the whole process in historical, political, and sociological research up till now. Subject matter concerns one of the neuralgic points within the Serbian-Albanian relationships, and as of the Kosovo and Metohija situation in last decades this issue used to become also subject of impassioned political discussions and often sectarian discourses. Subjected article attempts, based on research of sources and studying of large literature, to describe impartially as much as possible, the course of the colonization, its limits and destiny of colonists, using which the communist power tried to chill out the situation in Kosovo and Metohija after the WWII, during which majority of Albanian population identified with the solution of Albanian problem such a way, how fascist Italy introduced it. Article is also focused to interwar trials to resolve the situation within the region thru expatriation the Muslim Albanian ethnic into the Turkey.
