Popis
The paper deals with Boris Pasternak's stay in Germany, at Marburg University in the summer semester of 1912, where he studied philosophy. Pasternak was, first of all, attracted by Neo-Kantianism, whose main representatives such as Hermann Cohen and Paul Natorp were at that time teaching at Marburg. During these few months in Marburg Pasternak came to the decision to become a poet, and therefore the stay in this small German town is repeatedly reflected in his literary oeuvre. Some of the most important of these reflections are presented in the paper: the student's letters from Marburg, the prose fragment История одной контроктавы (1916), the poem Марбург in its versions of 1917 and 1928, the Marburg chapter in the autobiographical story Охранная грамота (1931) and a short mention of the stay in the autobiographical sketch Люди и положения (1956/57).
