Abstract(s)
The theme of soviet camps is being used and actual in literature for more than seventy years. The reflection of horrifying reality of that bloody time with its Stalinist policy and with its repressive measures aimed at the destruction of human personality and its foundation as a whole. The subject of author's interest except his own personal testimonies became not only important and actual problems of society which were systemized on the base of general historic facts but also documentary fixed testimonies of mass witnesses among which the authors testimonies take the central place. Glaring contradiction of that historic period was from one hand the strict prohibition of official power to illume the real state of social affairs and give its valuation and on the other hand the emergence of individuals for whom the picture of reality and its individual facts have a moral duty. To such outstanding personalities referred the writers as Alexander Solzhenitsyn and Varlam Shalamov.
