Estonská literatura v Čechách přináší shrnující pohled na dějiny české recepce estonské literatury od prvních překladů a ohlasů po současnost. Historická periodizace je vystavěna s ohledem na setkávání dvou literárních polí, především jejich politických faktorů, a na kontextualizaci estonské literatury v překladové a nakladatelské praxi a v recenzích. Součástí knihy je úplná bibliografie překladů a kritických ohlasů.
Estonian Literature in the Czech Lands is a general overview of the history of the Estonian literature's Czech reception from the first translations and reviews up to the present. The historical periodization is constructed upon the intersection of the two literary fields, especially their political factors, and contextualization of the Estonian literature in terms of the politics of translation, publishing and critical reviews. The complete list of the Czech translations and reviews is part of the book.
