Abstract(s)
The main purpose of this article is to provide a general view of the Spanish non- academic lexicography published in France in the nineteenth century. In order to achieve this aim, we will show the different reasons for this unusual development of a foreign lexicography in France paying special attention to those dictionaries addressed to the Hispano-American market.
