Abstract(s)
This paper examines recent developments in museum education in light of the new museum definition adopted at the 2022 ICOM General Conference, which emphasizes diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and the museum's role as an agent of social change. It focuses on the evolving postcolonial discourse within museum education. The new approaches are presented and examined through examples from both the various European museum institutions and the programs developed by the department of museum education of the National Museum of the Czech Republic.
Tento článek se zabývá nejnovějším vývojem muzejního vzdělávání s ohledem na novou definici muzea přijatou na Generální konferenci ICOM v roce 2022, která zdůrazňuje rozmanitost, inkluzi, přístupnost a roli muzea jako hybatele společenských změn. Zaměřuje se na vývoj postkoloniálního diskurzu v rámci muzejního vzdělávání. Nové přístupy jsou prezentovány a zkoumány na příkladech z různých evropských muzejních institucí i na programech vytvořených Oddělením vzdělávání a kulturních aktivit Národního muzea v Praze.
