Abstrakt(y):
The author of the paper postulates factors that influenced the linguistic form of literary works of the postmodern epoch: methodological readiness of linguistics, the linguistic situation in the framework of the cultural-social and political situation in the second half of the past century, and the role of literature in the social context. The paper presents the language characteristics of the postmodern epoch and illustrates them by examples from selected literary works.
