The study deals with the evolution of religious situation in the feudal town Boskovice and a local estate there before the time of the Battle of White Mountain in 1620. It also describes the religion of local nobility in the context of political history, reformation and other non-Catholic religious movements. The main source of information are the municipal administration records which provide data about sacral buildings, priests, administration of church fabrics and burgher testaments.
