During my studies of composition at the Janáček Academy and after my graduation in 1953, many teachers helped me intensify my knowledge especially in the field of musical thinking and its compositional implementation. I particularly appreciate the acquaintance with PhDr. Jiří Vysloužil, my older colleague, in 1953–63 lecturer at the Academy. This is a synthetic-analytic-synthetic method, proceeding from a project of the whole over its graphic elaboration in details (gestures) up to their synthetic implementation in musical material. Any kind of composition techniques, any stylistic principles and personal inclinations can be applied in this procedure. ... [Celé shrnutí v článku.]
