Abstract(s)
The main part of the article is a Czech translation of the texts KTU 1.10 + 1.11, so-called Loves with transliteration according to KTU edition and J.C.L. Gibson: Canaanite Myths and Legends. -- Content of introduction: These texts are not a part of the literary body of the Baal Cycle both as far as authorship (handwriting and material of the tablets are different) and content is concerned. -- The relationship between these and other Loves (Hieros gamos texts - mainly KTU 1.23) is considered later. According to the theory of three storey pantheon of main Ugarit gods, El and Ashera are the divine pair in control of macrocosmos (previously celestial deities), their creation is theogony. Baal and Anat on the other hand are gods of microcosmos, their creation is dynamic cosmogony - finding and maintaining the balance of agroclimatic cycle. The translation is accompanied by translational and religionistic remarks.
