Abstract(s)
The historian dealing with the law of ancient Roman Republic can obtain stimulating data from the literary works of ancient authors. Unfortunately, the information on ancient roman legislative activities is not very detailed and the references to the law provided are mostly fragmentary. In my article I do not deal with all legislative activity preserved in the book VII of Ab urbe condita by Livy, but I focus rather on the selected examples of laws (leges).
