The article is devoted to the analysis of the destruction motive of ethical and life guidance in times of revolutionary events – as the structure forming in M. Bulgakov's "The Turbins' Days" and in the plays by writers of Russian abroad such as I. Surguchev's "The Rivers of Babylon" and M. Aldanov's "The Line of Brunhilde".
