Přínos letecké prospekce - dálkového průzkumu země pro památkovou péči

Letecké snímkování / dálkový průzkum Země posunuly výrazným způsobem odhalení struktur archeologických lokalit / kulturních památek pro dokumentaci a uchování jejich původního stavu i celkově archeologické kulturní krajiny, jakožto i jejich postupný zánik. Cílem článku je poukázat na význam letecké prospekce / dálkového průzkumu země pro ochranu archeologických lokalit / kulturních památek pro památkovou péči v nejširším spektru souvislostí.

Aerial imaging and remote sensing significantly moved forward the exposure of archaeological sites and cultural monuments for the purpose of documentation and preservation of the original condition of these structures and of the archaeological cultural landscape in general, as well as for the documentation of their gradual decline. The aim of the paper is to emphasize the importance of aerial survey and remote sensing for the protection of archaeological sites and cultural monuments within the scope of heritage conservation in the widest possible context.
