- Obsahem knihy jsou komentované české překlady 14 rekomendací (promočních řečí) M. Jana Husa, pronesených v letech 1398/9 -1410 na artistické fakultě pražské univerzity. Doprovodné studie jsou věnovány rukopisnému dochování těchto textů, jejich argumentační výbavě a dále výuce na pražské artistické fakultě v daném období, zejména v oblasti filozofie a gramatiky.
- The book contains annotated Czech translations of 14 recommendation speeches (graduation speeches) of M. Jan Hus delivered at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prague between 1398/9 and 1410. The translations are preceded by four studies on the manuscript transmission of the speeches, their argumentative structure, the curriculum at the Faculty of Arts in Prague in the given period with a special focus on philosophy and grammar.
